Our Operations

Within the operational area of the Imaging and Functional Medicine Center (BFC), about 350 people work and we perform approximately 200,000 examinations and treatments annually. Nearly 100,000 examinations are performed acutely, while the other half are scheduled examinations. Almost all imaging diagnostic methods, MRI, CT (2 new photon counters), conventional X-ray, intervention, ultrasound, SPECT, and PET are available within the operational area. The operations are also located in Tierp and Östhammar, where we conduct conventional X-ray and also CT in Tierp.

Our operations at the Central Radiology Department, which will be your new workplace, operate around the clock with both acute and scheduled examinations.

Your Assignment

As a Radiology Nurse at the Central Radiology Department, you will perform acute and scheduled radiological examinations on CT, fluoroscopy, and conventional X-ray. We also perform some examinations in the hospital's intensive care units with our mobile units at all hours of the day. For a couple of years now, we have also had a CT in the emergency department that we staff part of the day.

We need to expand our team, and therefore we are now looking for new wonderful licensed Radiology Nurses to join our great group at the Central Radiology Department.

We want to see that you are a secure person who can work in a varied environment and that you thrive in a fast-paced setting. In your tasks and in daily contact with people, we place high demands on you to be service-oriented, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.

We also want to see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

If you have experience working in acute care previously, we consider this an advantage, but we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We Offer

We offer a 100% permanent position where the start date and scope will be agreed upon. A probationary period may apply. The work involves shifts during the day/evening and weekends, with the possibility of also working nights. Start date according to agreement.
